Your Split System - installed from only $400
Make the right air conditioning choice for your home.
If you decide to go ahead and buy an air conditioner, it's important to
plan your purchase carefully. If you buy the wrong air conditioner for your
home, it can waste your time, your money and cause problems with your neighbours.
Mastercool would recommend a site visit to determine the correct size unit
for your home or office. If a site inspection is not possible then floor
plans will aid in the preparation of your quotation.

Split system: Split systems are usually used to cool one or more
rooms or an open-plan area. They provide better cooling than window and
through-the-wall or portable air conditioners. However, they are more expensive
and require professional installation. Split systems work by placing the
cooling parts of the air conditioner outside and then having one or two
inside parts that contain the fans.

Multi split system: Multi Split Systems are one of today's most
advanced forms of air conditioning. One outdoor unit can power up to 4 indoor
units simultaneously, yet it remains highly energy efficient when operating
just one indoor unit at low capacity. Multi Split Systems are quick &
easy to have installed and are ultra quiet as well as highly energy efficient.
Ducted
Systems, refrigerated: These are also a “split system”
and manufacture air the same way, but instead of the consol mounted on a
wall, it is mounted in the ceiling space. This allows ducting to be connected
so cool or heated air can be distributed throughout the home. A unit sized
home would cost approximately $5500 installed. A typical 4 bedroom 2 bathroom
home from $8000-$10,000 with 30 to 60cents per hour operating costs.
Cassette: Extremely discreet, with only the grill showing in the
ceiling. Latest fan technology distributes the conditioned air evenly throughout
the room. Incorporating the latest fan technology, these units fit neatly
into the ceiling and distribute conditioned air through 2, 3 or 4 sides of
the unit. In addition, flaps allow air to be directed in either a pre-set
or sweep pattern.
